I bought one of the cheapest 20Ah LiFePo on Amazon that got decent ratings. ![]() Yes, the discharge rate is what ultimately determined the minimum capacity for me, not the runtime. With LiFePo, it is best not to exceed much more than 1C in constant discharge, which means a 20 Ah capacity minimum. I only do SSB, but wanted to be capable of doing any mode. I use full 100w, which is 20ish amps peak. I use my ic-7300 for POTA using a LiFePo battery. ![]()
